Data Architect Sr
Location: Monterrey, Aguascalientes, CDMX, Guadalajara, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico
Work Location: onsite
Requirements
· Required – Technical Skills
· Strong experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture
· Experience designing enterprise data platforms and data warehouses
· Experience designing ETL, ELT, data integration solutions
· Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
· Knowledge of AWS S3, Lambda, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, VPC
· Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse platforms
· Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, AWS Glue
· Experience designing cloud-native, serverless, event-driven architectures
· Knowledge of data modeling, database design, integration patterns
· Knowledge of data governance, security, access management
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, CloudFormation
· Experience with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines
· Programming or scripting experience, Python, Java, C#, SQL
· Ability to create architecture diagrams and technical documentation
· Experience working with Agile methodologies and SDLC practices

Responsibilities (Activities to perform)
· Design end-to-end data and cloud architectures
· Align solutions with business, security, scalability, and cost requirements
· Translate business needs into technical architecture proposals
· Define solution patterns, integration strategies, data flows, standards, roadmaps
· Design scalable ETL and ELT architectures
· Architect cloud-based data solutions using AWS services
· Design and orchestrate workflows using Airflow and dbt
· Design and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions
· Evaluate architecture alternatives, risks, dependencies, trade-offs
· Define governance, security, monitoring, logging, observability strategies
· Create architecture documentation and solution diagrams
· Support Infrastructure as Code implementations
· Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, engineers, business stakeholders
· Provide technical leadership during design and implementation
· Support scripting, coding, configuration, troubleshooting activities
· Participate in cloud operations and Proof of Concept development
· Support CI/CD implementation and automation practices
· Analyze system performance and data processing workloads
· Identify optimization opportunities across platforms and solutions
