We are seeking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join one of our main products Cupid Media - an online dating company that operates 33 active niche dating websites based on religion, ethnicity, lifestyle and special interests.

You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. The primary focus will be on implementing designs and ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple platforms and devices. You will collaborate closely with our design team and back end developers to bring ideas to life and enhance the overall user experience.

Your main tasks will be:

• Lead the development of robust and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Participate in the architectural design and planning of web applications.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components seamlessly.
• Utilise front-end frameworks and libraries to build scalable and maintainable applications.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal page load times and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior front-end developers.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges.

We expect from you:

• 5+ years of experience in frontend engineering
• Excellent skills with JavaScript, CSS & HTML5
• Strong knowledge of Svelte framework
• Experience with bug management software (e.g. JIRA)
• Experience in backend development with NodeJS will be considered as significant advantage
• Experience with modern CSS tools like Tailwind or similar will be considered as advantage
• Experience with security aspects of UI development, including OWASP, CORS policy, etc.
