We are looking for a Lead Localization Manager in our UX department

Your main tasks will be:

    • Develop and implement strategies for effective translation and adaptation of content into various languages;
    • Coordinate the work of the localization team, including task planning, distribution, and performance monitoring;
    • Assign specific tasks and projects to localizers based on their specialization and workload;
    • Implement best practices and technologies to improve the quality and speed of localization work;
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners to establish priority tasks and deadlines;
    • Source and engage qualified freelance translators for translation tasks;
    • Maintain and update the translation memory database to ensure consistency and accuracy;
    • Monitor the performance of the Translation Management System (TMS) and identify technical issues.

    We expect from you:

    • Minimum of 5 years in localization, translation, or a related field;
    • Experience working with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools;
    • Experience in developing regulations and conducting processes for localizing a product into different languages;
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously;
    • Ability to evaluate and implement new localization tools and technologies as needed;
    • Ability to work collaboratively with in-house teams, freelance translators, and copywriters;
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
    • Multilingual skills are highly desirable.

This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
