Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Software Engineer to build with us the systems and experiences that will support hundreds of thousands of developers worldwide tomorrow.
For this role, we seek a partner for our teams who will be a core contributor to our efforts here in the Developer Experience division, driving development, planning, and innovation with all of our colleagues.
You’ll Spend Your Time:
- Contributing to designing and implementing our technical solutions in TypeScript and Golang, focusing on delivering a secure and superior developer experience.
- Maintain and feedback on coding standards for creating reliable, observable, and scalable systems.
- Embrace our 'One Team' value by collaborating across departments and locations, fostering a culture of inclusion and transparency.
- Engage customer oriented-roles to understand and support our clients, embodying our 'Care Deeply' and 'Customer Centric' values.
- Support and contribute to innovative projects, rallying with the team in building industry-leading, cutting-edge services.
- Mentor and support team members, participate in recruiting new talent, and promote an environment of growth and belonging in partnership with your Engineering Manager.
- Participating in ensuring the stability and reliability of our services, both during regular schedule and outside in on-call rotations (compensated)
What You’ll Need:
- A passion for improving developer experiences, with a deep understanding of their challenges and needs.
- Experience in building end-to-end services using TypeScript and/or Go, with a commitment to high-quality product development.
- Production experience with CI/CD tools, Kubernetes, Docker
- A solid grasp on offering and receiving feedback, prioritizing its implementation, and ensuring that both you and those around have growth opportunities.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration in a distributed, cross-functional team environment.
We’d be Lucky if You:
- Believe we can do more than just review pull requests, and want to unlock that belief
- Have experience working with integrations for GitHub Apps, Bitbucket Connect, IDE Plugins, or Command-line Interfaces
- Are familiar with Application Security, DevSecOps, AST (SAST, SCA, IAST, DAST), or developer tooling
- Know the difference between a unified and context git diff
