AS A SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL
- Design and build data integration apps for Snowflake from various data sources.
- Enhance the connector platform SDK for streamlined and faster development.
- Optimize data ingestion and secure data transfers.
- Lead and mentor a group of engineers in the team, create designs, and present solutions to stakeholders and architects.
- Coordinate communication for goal alignment and work with PMs to translate business requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues and support customers.
- Collaborate with worldwide teams across the organization and roles.
OUR IDEAL SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER WILL HAVE
- 5+ years in large-scale, maintainable, and scalable system design and support.
- Know-how in database import/export characteristics. Proficient in SQL and databases.
- Skilled in Java or TypeScript.
- Strong ability to analyze and debug software issues.
- Excellent communication abilities.
