Senior QA Engineer-Backend&API Testing

🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:
- Ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of backend services and REST APIs powering our platform.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated API test frameworks.
- Build and execute automated integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end API tests.
- Validate RESTful APIs, request/response contracts, authentication flows, and business logic using tools such as Swagger and Postman.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, DevOps, and product teams to understand system architecture, service dependencies, and data flows.
- Perform backend validation using databases, logs, and monitoring tools to investigate and debug issues across distributed systems.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure fast and reliable delivery.
- Configure and maintain Allure Report / Allure TestOps integrations for test reporting, analytics, and test management.
- Improve test coverage, framework maintainability, reporting, and execution performance.
- Participate in code reviews, quality initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and engineering standards.
- Advocate for automation best practices, API reliability, and high-quality software delivery.

- Experience working with DS&AI teams, high-level knowledge on AI and ML projects
- Experience with Python apps
🧙♂️ The Magic You Bring
- 4–6 years of QA Automation experience with strong focus on API and backend testing.
- Hands-on experience in API automation.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and experience building scalable test automation frameworks.
- Experience testing REST APIs, microservices, and complex backend workflows.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.
- Experience working with Allure Reports and Allure TestOps for test reporting and test management.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JMeter.
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis, or message brokers for backend validation.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills with ability to investigate issues using logs and monitoring systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for automation, clean code, system reliability, and continuous improvement.
