On behalf of one of our major premium clients based in Brussels, we are looking for talented API / SOA Analysts to join dynamic, forward-thinking Agile teams.

Mission & Responsibilities

As an API / SOA Analyst, you will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. Your main mission will be to design, model, and analyze integration solutions that ensure robust data exchange across enterprise systems.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Requirements Gathering: Leading functional analysis and collecting business requirements from stakeholders.

• API & Service Design: Designing and modeling API/SOA services using UML and standard data modeling practices.

• Technical Specifications: Defining precise integration logic, data mappings, and transformations (XML, JSON).

• Architecture Support: Aligning designs with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles and REST/SOAP standards.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Conducting functional testing of web services to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

• Agile Collaboration: Actively participating in Scrum ceremonies, documenting architectures in Jira/Confluence, and collaborating with development teams.

Your Profile

Core Technical Skills:

• Strong expertise in API & SOA principles (REST, SOAP).

• Proficiency in UML and advanced data modeling.

• Hands-on experience with XML & JSON transformations.

• Solid understanding of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA).

• Familiarity with version control tools (GIT) and web services testing.

• Proficient with Jira and Confluence in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Experience & Seniority Levels:

• Junior: 1+ year of experience in system/integration analysis.

• Medior: 3+ years of experience with an autonomous approach to API design.

• Senior: 10+ years of experience, capable of driving architectural choices and mentoring junior team members.

Language Requirements:

• English: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4) AND

• Dutch OR French: Professional proficiency (Minimum 3/4)
