This paid internship for students extends from January 2025 to the end of Summer Term (mid-August 2025). We are looking for a minimum of 15+ hours/week during Winter/Spring Terms, with the opportunity to work additional hours during the Summer term.


You will work closely with a small yet stellar team of software engineers to build and integrate our business backend and API products. You'll be at the forefront of innovation in location data intelligence by creating meaningful experiences for customers while learning the answers to life, the universe and everything.


** This role is onsite, non-remote, in our Orem office. **


Responsibilities

  • Develop applications and tools by producing clean and efficient code
  • Analyze code to find root cause of errors and revise it if needed
  • Perform validation and verification testing
  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in software development through class projects or previous internships
  • Knowledge of relational databases
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with selected programming languages
    • Go, Java, .NET, Python, Ruby, PHP, server-side Javascript, or similar
  • Analytical mind with problem solving attitude
  • Excellent organizational skills
