Job Description
As the Data & Analytics Specialist you will be responsible for driving forward the use of data and web analytics within the company in order to refine and optimize our digital marketing channels, website performance, campaigns and initiatives for customer retention. Your knowledge of web analytics packages (particularly Google Analytics) and reporting methods will be crucial in this role. Working closely with stakeholders in the Marketing and IT teams, as well as the Directors, you will also work to improve existing reporting processes and proactively seek out new opportunites for development.

Reports to CMO – Chief Marketing Officer
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Conducting analysis on the performance of cross-channel campaigns and internal site merchandising promotions.
- Compiling regular and ad-hoc reports to give insight into how each marketing channel is currently performing eg, funnel analysis, engagement etc. and providing actionable insights to Marketing and IT.
- Owning analytics within the company including necessary training, troubleshooting and upgrades.
- Leading research into new analytics packages and providing recommendations.
- Working closely with the Product Managers to assist in the analysis of website improvements for UX/conversion optimization.
- Proactively determining the need for new reports, creating new reports and improving existing reporting procedures
The Qualified Candidate
- A graduate from a reputable University with a degree in Marketing, Computing or Statistics/Mathematics-related subjects.
- Minimum of 3 years professional experience in a specialist web/data/marketing analyst position, preferably with experience working on large e-commerce websites.
- High level of knowledge of the main online marketing channels and platforms, particularly for SEO and SEM.
- Extensive experience using Google Analytics (essential), other analytics platforms and tools for usability/conversion optimization testing.
- SQL and other similar programming languages would be a big advantage.
- High level of skills with Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team; owns a positive “can do” attitude and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to self-prioritize work streams, to take on responsibilities and to meet tight deadlines.
- Comfortable with multi-tasking and working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
