QA Engineer – SwaggerHub Explore

• You will help develop of one of the most perspective and newest SmartBear products

Product intro:
SwaggerHub Explore is the newest tool that will form a part of a larger API Platform strategy. It allows users to interact with REST APIs and Kafka services (gRPC, GraphQL, and others in the future). With our application, users can:

• Explore APIs / web services and work with endpoints;
• Quickly review the return values from API calls;
• Experiment with different parameters;
• Save Endpoints into an API bucket for easy access;
• See the raw byte stream returned by a call;
• Publish and subscribe with Kafka.

• Ensure quality of one of the most perspective and newest SmartBear product,
• Plans tests for developed features and work closely with the product owner, UX Designers and developers,
• Create and maintain automated tests for UI and backend APIs,
• Review results of automated tests and log defects, 
• Performance and stress test,
• Perform manual testing (exploratory and non-functional) with support of Zephyr Scale,
• Monitor and measure test coverage to improve test scenarios,
• Provide feedback/input on the techniques, solutions and tools used throughout projects 

We are looking for you if you have:  

• Experience with testing Web applications,
• Experience with JavaScript for test automation,
• Experience with API testing and tools such as SoapUI, ReadyAPI or other API testing tools,
• Experience with Web UI testing tools such as: Playwright, Test Complete, Cypress or other similar,
• A risk-based approach to testing 
• Experience in following would be a big plus: JIRA, Zephyr Scale, OAuth2, Kafka, AWS, figma
