Senior BackEnd Engineer – SwaggerHub

• Development of new features and capabilities in collaboration with an international team of developers, testers, UX designers and product managers
• Gaining exposure to cutting-edge development technology.
• Tech stack: Java, JavaScript, CI/CD Pipeline, REST APIs, RDBMS (e.g. Postgres), NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB), Maven, Git, Docker, Kubernetes

About the role:

As a Senior BackEnd Engineer you will be working on an international team to build new features and capabilities of the world’s best solution for API development. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers, and UX folks.

• Take part in design, development and integration of separate modules of application.
• Contribute to and hold when required technical discussions and requirement analysis with internal partners to drive alignment with product needs.
• Drive high engineering standards, engaging in peer design and code reviews, refining sessions, etc.
• Build well designed, clean applications with solid technical foundations.
• Make sure test coverage and code quality are in line with established guidelines.
• Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, product managers geographically spread across our different locations.
• Working on resolving technical issues of customers.

We are looking for you if you have:

• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm for container orchestration and deployment
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines driving automation and quality.
• Experience designing and consuming web services (REST APIs).
• Knowledge of design patterns and performance best practices.
• Solid understanding of object oriented programming and writing maintainable code.
• English on at least B2 level.
