About the role:
This opportunity is for a Junior DevOps Engineer to work on our BitBar product. We are looking for an ambitious developer who will take part in building a system controlling, managing, and enabling the devices cloud we provide to our customers.
You will be responsible for supporting R&D and QA teams in software development, deployment, and automated testing and monitoring.
We are looking for you if you have:
- 1+ years of experience in a similar position.
- Willingness to explore, learn, try and put it all into practice.
- Good UNIX-type OS knowledge (Linux or macOS).
- Knowledge of computer networking.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, python)
- Familiarity with containerization concept (proxmox, docker swarm, vmware)
- English at least on B2 level
Nice to-have:
- Hands on experience with switches, routers and WiFi access points
- Familiarity with Jenkins platform
- Familiarity with cloud solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with iOS and Android
- Familiarity with provisioning tools eg. ansible
