ReadyAPI allows teams to create, manage, and execute automated functional, security, and performance tests in one centralized interface. 

With ReadyAPI development teams around the world (e.g. NASA, FedEx, ...) can test API types like REST, SOAP, Apache Kafka, MQTT. Record live API traffic, or virtualizing web services to remove pipeline dependencies. Finally integrates with GIT, JIRA, Slack, Jenkins and many more development tools.

About the role 

As Junior Back End Engineer you will be working with internal teams around the globe to build one of the world's best solutions for API testing. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers and UX folks.

• Take part in development and integration of separate modules of application
• Contribute to and hold when required technical discussions and requirement analysis with internal partners to drive alignment with product needs
• Drive high engineering standards engaging in peer design and code reviews, grooming sessions, etc.
• Make sure test coverage and code quality are in line with established guidelines
• Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, UX designers, product managers geographically spread across our different locations
• Working on resolving technical issues of customers

We are looking for you if you have:  

• 1+ years of Java development experience
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of design patterns and good coding practices
• English on at least B2 level
• Experience with HTTP, REST API, Git, Maven/Gradle
• Experience in following would be a big plus: GraphQL, SOAP, Apache Kafka, MQTT, OAuth2, Groovy, JavaFX, Swing
