API Hub is an integrated API development platform aimed at teams using the Swagger framework to design, build, document and deploy APIs.  API Hub enables collaboration and coordination through the entire API lifecycle with integrations to engineer favorite toolsets such as, AWS, GitHub, Apigee as well as other SmartBear products.

About the role:

As a Junior Back End Engineer you will be working with internal teams around the globe to build one of the world’s best solutions for API testing. You can look forward to working with our best and brightest engineers, product managers. 

• Ensure development Java in accordance with the software engineering helping to define and champion development standards for the team.
• Drive high engineering standards engaging in peer design and code reviews, grooming sessions, etc.
• Build and maintain robust unit tests.
• Create and maintain technical and support documentation.
• Collaborate with teams of developers, testers, product managers geographically spread across our different locations.

We are looking for you if you have:

• 1-2+ years working with web-based technologies: Java
• Basic experience with Maven, DI frameworks, Docker, SQL/NoSQL database
• Nice to have expirience with JS, AWS, GitHub actions
• English on at least B2 level.
