About the Role:

The UI/UX Architect is responsible for leading the architecture, design, and development of modern enterprise user interfaces while driving front-end technology strategy and engineering excellence. This role combines hands-on development expertise with architectural leadership to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Angular, React, TypeScript, JavaScript, UI/UX best practices, and REST API-driven integrations, with a proven ability to architect and implement enterprise-grade solutions. This individual will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to create exceptional digital experiences that seamlessly integrate with APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.

What You'll Do:

• Define and own the UI architecture roadmap for enterprise-scale applications.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, reusable, and maintainable front-end solutions using Angular, React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Act as a hands-on architect by actively contributing to development, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical implementation.
• Design and develop custom enterprise UI solutions integrated with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based services.
• Establish enterprise UI standards, design patterns, development frameworks, and coding best practices.
• Create reusable component libraries, design systems, and front-end frameworks to accelerate development efforts.
• Lead application modernization initiatives, including migrations from AngularJS to modern Angular and React platforms.
• Design and implement micro-frontend architectures and API-first application frameworks.
• Develop proof-of-concepts, technical prototypes, reference architectures, and reusable accelerators.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to align solutions with organizational technology strategies.
• Design and implement robust REST API integration frameworks and client-side service architectures.
• Establish standards for API consumption, authentication, authorization, caching, resiliency, and error handling.
• Partner with backend engineering teams to define and optimize RESTful API contracts and integration patterns.
• Design secure API integration solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, and modern security frameworks.
• Develop API-driven user experiences that consume data from enterprise platforms and microservices.
• Support integration with identity and access management platforms, analytics solutions, workflows, and cloud services.
• Champion user-centered design principles and collaborate with UX teams to deliver intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Drive accessibility compliance, responsive design standards, and mobile-first development practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to front-end development teams.
• Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and security assessments.
• Establish performance optimization standards and front-end security best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex UI, API, integration, and performance-related issues.
• Support Agile delivery teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Lead the successful delivery of UI solutions from design through deployment and production support.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong front-end engineering expertise.
• 5+ years of experience in UI Architecture, Front-End Architecture, or Solution Architecture roles.
• Proven experience designing and developing large-scale enterprise web applications.
• Demonstrated experience serving as a hands-on architect while actively contributing to development efforts.
• Extensive experience developing custom UI solutions, enterprise portals, and digital platforms.
• Strong expertise in AngularJS, Angular (v12+ preferred), React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS/SCSS, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, and Material UI.
• Strong understanding of modern front-end architecture patterns, component-based development, Single Page Applications (SPA), Progressive Web Applications (PWA), and Micro Frontends.
• Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, NgRx, RxJS, and Context API.
• Proven experience designing and implementing API-driven user interfaces.
• Strong expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger, WebSockets, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience implementing secure authentication and authorization frameworks using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and JWT.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable application development.
• Experience with DevOps and engineering tools including Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization, front-end security, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work from the client location as required.

Nice to Have:

• Experience designing enterprise portals and customer-facing digital platforms.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience integrating front-end applications with Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms.
• Knowledge of SailPoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or similar IAM technologies.
• Experience developing self-service portals, workflow-driven applications, and administrative dashboards.
• Familiarity with microservices-based architectures and cloud-native application development.
• Experience implementing AI-powered user experiences, Copilots, conversational interfaces, and intelligent assistants.
• Experience with UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and InVision.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards including WCAG and ADA compliance.
• Experience building reusable design systems and enterprise component libraries.
• Relevant certifications in Front-End Development, Cloud Technologies, UX Design, or Enterprise Architecture.
