WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As a Senior Testing Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of client onboarding projects and updates to SimCorp’s Global Standard Solutions. You will execute and oversee system integration testing (SIT), support user acceptance testing (UAT) and operational readiness testing (ORT), and collaborate closely with external service providers and internal stakeholders.

Your contributions will safeguard the integrity of financial workflows, enhance client confidence, and ensure smooth delivery of complex solutions. This role requires solid analytical skills, deep knowledge of financial instruments, and the ability to thrive in collaborative, outcome-oriented environments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Execute SIT activities during onboarding projects

• Monitor, debug, and react to failing tests in collaboration with external service providers

• Review test results with stakeholders and address gaps across SIT processes

• Support and consult teams and business users during UAT and ORT phases

• Test updates to Global Standard Solutions impacting SIT workflows

• Track and report testing progress, risks, and dependencies

• Collaborate across the value chain from Value Stream to Business Services

• Design, maintain, and execute test cases based on functional and technical requirements

• Manage defect lifecycle and reporting using Azure DevOps

• Ensure test readiness and quality sign-off with service providers and stakeholders

• Participate in test planning, estimation, and coordination activities

WHAT WE VALUE

• Knowledge and experience in SimCorp Dimension testing activities

• Data mapping expertise

• Familiarity with financial instruments (Equities, Bonds, FX, Deposits, Mutual Funds, Derivatives) and their lifecycles (CTM, trading platforms, SWIFT)

• Alternatively, expertise in at least one SimCorp Dimension domain:

• Trade Processing (Securities or Derivatives)

• Reconciliation

• Corporate Actions

• Fund Administration

• Reporting

• DevOps mindset and belief in test-driven development

• Ability to drive transformation and curiosity about business processes

• Solid collaboration skills, motivation, and outcome-oriented approach

• Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI) with attention to detail

• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Tester, or Business Consultant in asset management, investment operations, or financial services
