About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our fast-paced engineering team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Linux systems administration, scripting, and CI/CD tooling, with a critical focus on migrating our build and release pipelines from Jenkins to Harness. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a start-up environment and enjoys collaborating across engineering, data science, and product teams.

Key Skill Priority

⭐ Jenkins to Harness Migration

• Hands-on experience planning and executing migrations from Jenkins to Harness is the most critical requirement for this role.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 4–7 years of relevant work experience; a degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline is required.
• Proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products, and/or working knowledge of cloud infrastructure such as Azure or AWS (preferred).
• Experience with Shell, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience managing Linux systems and working with build and release tools like Jenkins.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders, including engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Big Data & Platform Engineering

• Support experience in the Big Data domain.
• Experience architecting, implementing, and maintaining Big Data solutions.
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, including:
  • HDFS
  • MapReduce
  • Oozie
  • Hive
  • Impala
  • Spark
  • Kerberos
  • Kafka

Containerization & Infrastructure

• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management systems.

AI-Assisted Development Tools

• Experience with AI-assisted ("vibe coding") tools such as:
  • Cursor
  • Windsurf
  • Claude
  • GitHub Copilot
