As a Technical Co-Op, you will engage in an extended program designed to provide in-depth hands-on experience in various technical functions within the aerospace and defense industry. You will work on real-world projects, receive continuous mentorship, and develop essential technical skills through practical assignments and learning opportunities.The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations – with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries.Responsibilities:
Must have been a SNC Summer 2026 Intern
Work on long-term technical projects and contribute to achieving team goals by completing assigned tasks.
Engage in continuous mentorship and coaching from experienced industry professionals.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and prepare comprehensive reports on project progress and outcomes.
Collect, analyze, and interpret technical data to support engineering and technical decisions.
Participate in planning and coordination meetings to align with project requirements and timelines.
Identify and suggest process optimization opportunities and support their implementation.
Gain experience in various technical functions through cross-departmental workshops and assignments.
Engage in professional development activities to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Must be a Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college or technical school, with at least 6 months until graduation after end of internship.
Relevant experience.
Currently enrolled in a university or college program pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.
