  • Oversee exposure monitoring programs—including chemical, noise, respiratory, and radiation assessments—and drive trend analysis to inform prevention strategies.
  • Develop, refine, and manage critical programs such as respiratory protection, confined space, fall protection, heat illness prevention, and medical surveillance.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulatory requirements across multiple operating locations.
  • Provide expert technical guidance, training, and mentorship to HSE and operational teams, strengthening organizational capability in exposure control and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to drive continuous improvement in health protection, workforce safety culture, and industrial hygiene program maturity.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in a related industrial hygiene or HSE role.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or ability to obtain CIH within one year of hire.
  • Proven experience managing and developing IH/HSE programs and leading teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in industrial hygiene surveys, exposure assessments, and program development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment that supports teamwork, open communication, and company culture.
  • Skilled in developing and implementing programs that align with organizational goals and safety strategies.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, or related field.
  • Experience conducting exposure monitoring and IH surveys in aviation or related manufacturing environments, including aircraft servicing, chemical handling, and maintenance operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of multi‑hazard IH programs (chemical, noise, respiratory, ergonomic, radiation).
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance in highly controlled aviation settings (airworthiness, production, flight operations).
  • Strong capability in developing IH programs, training personnel, and improving risk‑reduction strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across technical, manufacturing, maintenance, and operational teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to conduct safety inspections and audits, which may involve walking, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including office, manufacturing, and outdoor settings.
  • Must be able to work in a team and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Proficiency in using computers and software applications related to HSE.
