The Zone Integration Network Engineering Manager (ZINE Manager) can be located anywhere near a major airport in the Atlantic Zone. The formation of Zone Integration Network Engineering (ZINE) teams is a direct result of our portfolio growing into a more complex offering requiring multi-layered networking, integration between disciplines and integration between Siemens and third-party cloud-based solutions. Having Zone level experts will allow for coverage in all locations, more effective implementation of solutions and consistent quality in our project execution.

Each Zone team will consist of a ZINE Manager who will have the Zone Network Integration Engineers (NIE), Zone Network Integration Specialists (NIS), Digital Deployment Specialists (DDS) and Zone Technology Expert (ZTE) as one unified team. The ZINE team is responsible sales and operations support of information technology, for network architecture and setup, as well as, being staffed with experts in Smart Infrastructure portfolio. Through mentoring and training of the Field operations and sales office staff, we will be positioned to take the next step in the SI digital transformation.


As the Zone Integration Network Engineering Manager, you will: 

  • Lead the performance of the Zone Integration Network Engineering team.
  • Responsible engineering of all project work: solutions, service, regardless of project size or location.
  • Manages employees to ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications and cost estimates.
  • As part of the Zone management team coordinates resource needs for sales support and project development.
  • Provides direct employee mentorship and is responsible for employee development within the ZINE organization.
  • Promotes, provides training for, and ensure implementation of engineering related division productivity tools.
  • Reviews customer feedback and ensures high customer satisfaction.
  • Builds and maintains an effective engineering and deployment organization committed to customer and employee satisfaction and profitable growth.
  • Manages or advises on hiring, training and development, allocation and performance assessment of personnel within area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for driving standards, increase quality and leverage resources throughout the Zone.
  • Adapts quickly to understanding new products and its implementation.
  • Responsible for staffing to handle the forecasted volume for the zone.
  • Responsible for the implementation of zone engineering standards and consistency to achieve One Engineering Deliverable with shorter lead times, lower cost, and improved quality.

You will make an impact with these qualifications: 

Basic Qualifications:   

  • Associates degree (2 year) in a technical (industry related) field or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5 - 7 years proven on-the-job operations supervisory/ management experience.
  • Demonstrated strong listening, negotiation, organizational, oral and written communication skills for multi-tasking effectively.
  • Ability to 25% travel.
  • Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations to participate in the required Siemens vehicle reimbursement program (FAVR) .
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.

  • The pay range for this position is $135,030 - $289,320 and the annual incentive target is 15% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
