Join Siemens' Strategy and Data Insights Team in People and Organization as a Working Student, where you'll gain hands-on experience transforming people data into insights that guide strategic decision-making.

As a working student, you’ll have the opportunity to build on your technical expertise while supporting key projects that shape our people strategy. You’ll collaborate with a mixed team of strategists and data scientists who use machine learning and statistical modelling to drive insights. You will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, building dashboards, and communicating insights to drive informed decisions across Siemens. This role offers a chance to apply your skills in a professional environment, with opportunities for growth and learning along the way.

What part will you play?

• Data Literacy: Understand the common challenges in creating KPIs and ensure data integrity.
• Power BI Proficiency: Build and maintain interactive dashboards to present data insights effectively.
• Data Relationships & Models: Work with relational databases, managing data joins and relationships to support data visualisation efforts.
• Dashboard Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain business intelligence dashboards, ensuring they are current and aligned with business needs.
• Documentation & Presentations: Assist in creating documentation and drafting business presentations to communicate key findings and insights.
• Data Storytelling: Transform complex data into compelling narratives for business stakeholders.

What you need to make real what matters.

• Enrolled in a BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of business analytics and data visualisation through dashboarding (preferably in Power BI).
• Strong knowledge and literacy of data models, data joins, and how to handle data in various formats.
• Ability to clearly communicate data insights through presentations and storytelling.
• Skills in documentation and attention to detail when maintaining dashboards.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, dbt, or data warehousing.
• Familiarity with Python, R, Azure Machine Learning, or using notebooks for analysis.
• Experience working on small Python projects or using GIT for version control.
