What do you contribute?
As the leader of a team of experts in technology development and diagnosis, your responsibility covers following main topics: Diagnosis and software architecture for the TCMS of locomotives as well as managing the components of the control system. The scope of work covers the entire engineering process from requirements definition via system design to implementation and continuous improvement including stakeholder management.
You will:
- Lead a team of up to 15 engineers, software architects, and component managers in the locomotives controls.
- Be responsible for their development and the strategical orientation of the team.
- Manage the capacity planning for your team and prioritize their tasks.
- Ensure system development adheres to industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and project teams to achieve efficient processes.
What do you bring along?
- Bachelor's degree and extensive professional experience in the railway industry.
- Proven track record of leading a team of system engineers.
- Experience in international collaboration, ideally with time working abroad.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
