Position Overview:
Siemens Mobility provides efficient rail transportation for people and goods, including rolling stock, rail automation, electrification, and services. We manufacture a wide range of rolling stock, such as commuter and regional trains, light rail, streetcars, metros, locomotives, passenger coaches, and high-speed trains. We also supply traction-power substations, electricity transmission, and signaling and control technology for rail systems.
Our Rolling Stock team delivers products like light rail vehicles, electric and diesel-electric locomotives, and passenger coaches. Our operations team ensures smooth functioning in areas like health & safety, supply chain management, logistics, welding, fabrication, assembly, and painting.
The Supply Chain Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing data and implementing robotic process automations to support our business operations and strategic initiatives in Order Management department. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools, and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
What your day may look like:
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to uncover trends and patterns.
- Perform data cleaning to maintain data integrity.
- Create reports and dashboards to deliver data insights with stakeholders.
- Partner with different teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify and recommend improvements for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and implement RPA solutions to automate repetitive tasks and boost efficiency.
- Monitor and maintain RPA bots for optimal performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Use statistical methods to analyze data and produce valuable business reports.
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably with ERP systems like SAP.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Snowflake, Excel, and Power Apps.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Understanding of RPA best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath or Mendix.

The salary range for this position in Sacramento, CA is $80,600-108,800 per year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
