Siemens - Smart Infrastructure - Electrical Products organization is seeking qualified candidates for its trailblazing Digital Transformation Program and progress advanced analytics and AI use cases beginning in May 2025. This opportunity is based in Peachtree Corners, GA office.

We are looking for an Advanced Analytics and AI summer Intern. This position will be based in Peachtree Corners, GA.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Understand business use case requirements and build frameworks for machine learning and/or GenAI projects to solve business problems.
• Write SQL and Python programs to support with data engineering and machine learning use cases.
• Interface with business stakeholders, IT architects and developers to review requirements, code, test outcomes and the developed dashboards.
• Work on visualization tools such as Tableau to create user friendly dashboards and analyze data.
• Document activities in a structured manner for sustainability and reducing
• Work with business subject matter experts (SME) to better understand the Siemens processes and use cases.
• Identify areas for improvement and be proactive in implementing automation wherever possible.
• Document wok and publish in Internal SharePoint site and wiki site.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Undergraduate or graduate students in computer science or related field with a focus on Advanced analytics and AI
• Demonstrated proficiency working knowledge in programming languages such as Python and SQL. Preferably on practical Advanced analytics and AI use cases.
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms and/or large language models (i.e. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), with the ability to implement the same.
• Good understanding of data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau) and data wrangling (i.e Knime).
• Understanding of prediction model evaluation and validation techniques. Proficiency in feature engineering and selection.
• Basic understanding of version control systems, Snowflake, and large language models.
• Exposure to sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multinational and diverse group and demonstrate leadership skills.
• Capacity to efficiently manage, prioritize & communicate a variety of concurrent activities.
• Located within 50 miles of Peachtree corners, GA.
• Able to work 40 hours per week from May to August in a hybrid mode (atleast 2 days on site, 3 days remote per week).
• Legally authorized to work in the US now and in the future without sponsorship.

• The pay range for this position is $49,350 - $84,600 prorated for May-August. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
