We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Power BI Developer

You’ll make a difference by:

• We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, with a solid understanding of data visualization, dashboard development, and data modelling.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement data models and dataflows in Power BI for efficient data analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights and visualizations.
• Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
• Integrate Power BI with other systems and data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, SAP, and cloud platforms.
• Create and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions, including data mappings, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.
• 6 to 8 years of experience working with Power BI in a professional setting.
• Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query for data preparation and transformation.
• Good knowledge of design and implementation of data models and data flows in Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data visualization standard processes and principles.
• Experience with DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating calculated columns, measures, and calculated tables in Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
• Data integration techniques, such as APIs, OData, SQL Server, SharePoint, SAP, JIRA, cloud platforms (AWS) etc.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Able to track the progress of the deliverables and ensure timeline of deliverables to be followed.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Should be able to provide technical guidance and direction to junior team members.
• Good to have knowledge of any front-end technology like React.
• Mandatory - SQL, PowerBI, DAX, Hands on experience with at least One ETL tool.
• Good to have – React (Front-end)
