Siemens EDA is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our software development and deployment infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, with a strong background in build automation and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Release Engineering
- Design and implement comprehensive build strategies for complex software projects
- Develop and maintain build scripts and automation workflows
- Optimize build processes for performance and reliability
- Manage build configurations across multiple platforms and environments
- Expert-level experience with build tools (Experience with GNU make is a bonus)
- Develop and maintain complex build scripts for C/C++ projects
- Optimize compilation processes and reduce build times
- Implement cross-platform build strategies
Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
- Architect and implement advanced CI/CD pipelines
- Integrate and configure CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks
Technical Skills Requirements
Core Skills (Required)
- 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience
- Extensive experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
- Advanced knowledge of version control systems (Git)
- Strong understanding of software build processes
Bonus Skills
- Expertise in GNU make and advanced build system configuration
- Deep understanding of C/C++ compilation processes
- Experience with build optimization techniques
- Knowledge of cross-compilation strategies
- Familiarity with build tools like CMake, Bazel
- Experience with embedded systems build processes
- Familiarity with compiler optimization techniques
- Experience with distributed build systems

Educational Background

The salary range for this position is $105,100 to $189,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
