Junior Software Engineer -Cybersecurity

In the role of Junior Software Engineer -Cybersecurity in the Ultrasound product development team, your primary responsibilities are:

• Support Security Vulnerability Patch deliveries for Ultrasound product lines and Third-party software management.
• Work in close corporation with the product architects, development & test teams.
• Continuous improvement of threat analysis capabilities & tooling
• Investigation & root cause analysis of security events & incidents
• Understand System architecture and propose architectural changes & practices to support Security Vulnerability Patches.
• Experience working in Agile /Safe Agile development model.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Engineering graduate with 2-5 years’ experience as a Cybersecurity engineer.
• Good understanding of network technology and concepts & Network troubleshooting
• Good to have working knowledge on VMware or other virtualization Platforms from VMware, Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services or any open source platform
• Development programming skills in : C# .Net, Python, Shell, Powershell, Database Management like SQL
• Knowledge of source control management systems (e.g. TFS, VSTS etc...)
• Experience with systems and IT operations in a High Secure Environment
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
• Experience working in Agile /Safe Agile development model

Must Have Skills :

1. Creative Thinking: Capacity for innovative problem-solving and thinking outside the box to address complex cybersecurity challenges.
2. Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and resolving cybersecurity issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Vulnerability Patching: Experience in identifying and patching vulnerabilities across diverse systems and platforms.
4. Network and Infrastructure Security: Proficiency in implementing and maintaining network security measures to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches.
5. Batch Scripting: Strong skills in writing and executing batch scripts for automation purposes and system management.

PowerShell Scripting: Advanced knowledge of PowerShell scripting for system administration, automation, and security tasks.

1. Knowledge of Cybersecurity Frameworks: Familiarity with industry-standard cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST,iSO/IEC 27001, and CIS Controls.
2. Experience in Programming: Previous experience in software development or scripting languages

Good To Have

1. Security Certifications: Any relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CEH,Security, CSSLP.
2. Threat Modelling: Ability to assess and mitigate potential cybersecurity threats through effective threat modeling techniques.
3. Application Security (SAST): Experience in SAST reviews.
