Role Description:

• Analyze requirements and check feasibility with existing MNS features,
• Desigo CC Platform features, MNS Device Driver Framework, security considerations, device communication and integration considerations.
• Finalize the feature specifications.
• Create architecture/design specification for new features, change requests, and defects, within the constraints of the Desigo Mass Notification.
• Code implementation using Desigo Mass Notification Device Driver Framework.
• Test the code with real devices, as well as with unit tests and Simulators.
• Design/implement required performance/functional Simulators for devices.
• Implement unit tests.
• Support field issues.
• Support UL tests.
• Technical activities for receiving UL approval for MNS.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 7 years of experience in the Software Development, as a Consultant Engineer, Systems Engineer, or an acceptable alternative occupation. 
• The position requires seven (7) years of experience with the following skills: Object Oriented Architecture and Design, SOA; Experience with C#.NET, WCF, WPF, MEAN stack, SQL Server, SQLITE, PostgreSQL, NHibernet, AES encryption; Experience with FxCOP, NUnit, NMock, Speed Trace, Memory Profiler, FreeSwitch PBX, WireShark; Experience in Agile Scrum methodology; Domain experience of Mass Notification systems.
• 5 years of experience with Domain experience in Fire Safety products; UL/ULC standards and certification process of Mass Notification Standards, such as UL2572 and ULC-S576.

• The pay range for this position is <$81,100 - $139,080>. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
