Description

As a Software Architect for a team developing state of art software, you will be required to: 

Drive and guide the specification and implementation of a Software (SW) architecture for a whole product or a subsystem over all its domain and technical aspects and ensure the sustainability of architecture vision.

Technically conceptualize, design and develop whole product or a sub-system.

Collaborate with different stake holders to elaborate functional and non- functional requirements of the product and take decisions that are driven by a clear focus on the intended business and its associated requirements.

Bring in maturity, vision, depth of domain, technical experience and the ability to identify, analyze, and decide on relevant issues in time and with courage, even in the absence of complete information.

Coach and motivate developers in your team over the entire lifetime of a project to enable, support, and enforce an appropriate implementation, maintenance, quality assurance, test, and evolution of the SW architecture, even in the face of challenging, changing, and evolving business cases, requirements and realization technologies.

Involve relevant stake holders (Project manager, Product manager, Test manager etc.) in decision making process.

   

Profile

       

From Business perspective, completely responsible for validating technology roadmaps, doing technology evaluation and if needed, driving make or buy decisions. If needed, shall provide support to evaluate suppliers and identifying potential invention disclosures.

From requirements engineering perspective, completely responsible for deriving software requirements, defining external software interfaces, validating software requirements and giving feasibility statement.

From Architecting and design perspective, completely responsible for elaborating software architecture and design, design prototyping, documenting architecture and design rationale, establishing architecture traceability, identification and specification of interfaces. Shall provide support for Architecture management, monitoring of internal software quality and structural changes.

From implementation perspective, completely responsible for reviewing detailed software design, coaching for software development and deployment. Shall provide support for implementation of any critical component.

From testing and Quality perspective, completely responsible for driving architecture quality. Shall provide support for software integration, sequence and concept, performing tests and resolving of defects.

 

Qualification

B.E. / B. Tech / MCA/ M. Tech

 

Desired Experience

 

10+ years of hands-on experience in design and development using multiple technologies, test frameworks and programming languages, out of which at least 2+ years of experience working as a software architect.

Proficient in Angular, Java Script, HTML5, Web API, C#, WPF, WCF, .Net Technologies.

Proficient in UML and UML modeling tools, experience with Enterprise Architect is a plus.

Exposure to one or more source control tools, exposure to TFS is a plus.

Strong fundamentals of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design (OOA/OOD).

Strong understanding and hands on experience in handling NFRs.

Sound knowledge of software engineering process.

Sound knowledge of Requirements engineering.

Experience in software estimations, scheduling and tracking.

Must have a good oral and written communication ability.

Familiarity with Container technology and Kubernetes is a plus.

Familiarity with healthcare domain is a plus.

Familiarity with Agile practices is a plus.
