The Energy and Performance Services (RSS-EPS) business unit of Siemens Smart Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a major Decarbonization Program deployment for a global customer.

What will you do? 
Your missions cover the fulfillment of the Contractual and budgetary obligations of the Project, as well as the overall Customer Satisfaction. 

Active participation in internal as well as external meetings with customer and final user.
Ensures and models compliance with local laws, standards and regulations, Business Conduct Guidelines, EHS procedures and internal project development methodologies, tools and approvals.
Execute projects successfully – zero accidents, on-time, within budget – satisfying customer expectations and preserving SIEMENS high quality standards. 
Manage communication with customer(s) and stakeholders from handover until final completion, establishing long-term trust with SIEMENS customers.
Review specifications and/or project-specific documents to establish the project intent oriented to fulfill SIEMENS commitments with its customer(s).
Develop and maintain a project schedule for timely coordination with the project team, tracking resources and project progress.
Document project events that impact the schedule, scope of work, and project efficiency.
Manage the requisition of supplies and materials to complete projects.
Review plans and specifications and participate in project cost reviews.
Assist the request and contracting of suppliers and subcontractors.
Conduct an orientation for project technicians and provide all necessary project documentation, including scope of work, drawings, applicable specifications, application-engineered drawings, project contacts, etc.
Schedule project-specific commissioning resources and provide commissioning documentation.
Coordinate and pursue project-specific billing; coordinate with commercial project manager and controlling team.
Pursue project-specific change-order opportunities, coordinating claim management team if necessary and negotiating with relevant stakeholders.
Devise, track, implement and updates risk mitigation strategies and actions.
Communicate and proactively respond – involving stakeholders as necessary – to unexpected events. 
Complete project-specific close-out documentation.
Document and provide feedback to internal stakeholders on lessons learned. 
Support after sales activities, identifying opportunities to better serve customers.
You will drive all functional departments in a matrix organization.
You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and deliverables in accordance with contractual agreements with the customer and support business goals in collaboration with senior management and other stakeholders.
You will coach, mentor, empower, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
You will be responsible for ensuring harmonized reporting to the customer, tool based management of the project for Scheduling, Engineering change management, etc
You will be responsible for contract & claims management through consistent Project Logs and Events tracking processes.
You will drive opportunities and business upsides across the regional scopes with clear objective to preserve and improve the Project Margin.

What will you need to succeed?
Project Management Professional (PMP), (IPMA) and Internal Siemens PM / Senior PM certifications. 
Bachelor of Engineering, preferred in Mechanical Engineering 
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken. 
Desirable 5+ years’ experience in the energy generation and/or energy efficiency sector (PV project, HVAC design environment – with specific knowledge on Chillers, heat pumps, etc  
Knowledge and understanding of HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams
Knowledge of industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet
Knowledge of decarbonization, electrification, automation solutions including climate tech, metering equipment and methodologies, e-mobility infrastructure
Minimum required past experience: 10 years. - Proven experience in large EPC and/or Energy project management is a plus 
Strong financial (i.e Project Controlling), leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Demonstrated history of increasing responsibility and ability to lead and inspire.
Results driven; customer focused; ability to interact effectively within cross-functional teams; collaborative style.
Profound understanding of internal business processes in sales and project execution
