Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for Senior Data Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

• Collaboration in the development of the core data integration platform
• Developing new data integration workflows, along with extending and maintaining the existing
• Transforming domain-specific rules and know-how into SQL to extract business intelligence
• Integrating new source Systems and processes into the existing data architecture using both ETL and ELT

You’ll win us over by:

• Experience in at least one of the 3 core technologies (Snowflake, Alteryx or dbt cloud) is required
• Experience of 4+ Years is preferred.
• Experience using ETL/ELT tools for data integration
• Experience using Python for data engineering, e.g. pandas and dbt
• Familiarity with the modern data warehouse technology Snowflake
• Fluency in data modelling and SQL incl. window functions
• Ability to work vertically across existing data architectures to accomplish new functionalities from end to end
• Never settling for the Status quo: attitude to always improve, challenge, and optimize existing code/functionalities
• Experience using the version control system Git

Desired Qualification:

• Experience in rail projects
• Experience with Alteryx for ET L data integration
• Frontend development expertise using JavaScript/TypeScript or React framework
• Experience utilizing low-code platforms such as Mendix or Power Apps for UI development
• Passion for user experience and application design
• Experience using the software development management tool Azure DevOps
