- Provide design oversight and supporting technical documentation for transitioning/transitioned products to ensure product availability for on-schedule delivery.
- Generate prints, publish Bill of Materials (BOM), hold tooling and component design reviews, provide management updates, resolution to PPAPs and deviation requests.
- Leads and maintains detailed and comprehensive records of all inventive ideas, designs, and engineering changes.
- Leads RCA to determine that products perform in the intended manner per the proper certification standard. (UL / NOM / IEC, etc)
- Leads design improvement and cost reduction projects.
- Leads Implementation of Design Changes in production.
- Mechanical engineer or related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in similar positions
- English Advanced
- NX, ProE, Solidworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Power BI
- Green belt
- PPAP, 8D, AMEF
