Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, modify, and implement high-capacity and high-performance software with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery.
- Understand and improve a code base that requires knowledge of computational geometry, high-performance data structures, multi-threading, distributed computing, multi-platform support, and object-oriented design of C++ software.
- Create, document, and implement software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of complicated systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts.
- Collaborate with team members, quality assurance engineers, product engineers, technical publications, and customer support to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
- Promote innovation through the ability to introduce new technology/knowledge into multiple areas of the product and to our people.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Ph.D. preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in software development, with a strong C++ programming background.
- Proficiency in Linux-based development environments.
- Experience in multi-threaded programming and parallel computing.
- Knowledge of EDA, and IC design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday
The salary range for this position is $151,300 to $272,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
