Mechanical Design Engineer Spring Internship

Siemens Industry is looking for interns for our Electrification and Automation division in Wendell, NC to support our portfolio of protection and automation products and solutions. A variety of opportunities are available across the business supporting project design tasks, operations, product development, special projects and process improvements. On-site requirement will vary based on team placement – as will expected working hours.

To apply for the Internship program, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Majors: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student studying Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Education: Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited technical school, college, or university (you must be a registered student at the time of the internship) 
• Relocation: No travel /or relocation compensation. Applicants must be local and able to work on-site at the office in Wendell, NC
• Working Hours: Spring Internships are Part-time up to 29 hours per week. Work times starting from 8-9am and ending they day 4-6pm with flex start and end times.
• Work Authorization: Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

• The hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00-$30.00/hr. Actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
