We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Apps Developer Intern to assist in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of digital solutions in our manufacturing environment. This intern will work closely with our software and manufacturing teams to support the development of applications that streamline operations, improve efficiency, and enhance data accessibility.

You’ll create impact by:
- Assist in developing, testing, and deploying applications for various manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Implement data integration solutions to streamline data flow across manufacturing systems.
- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging efforts to ensure smooth app performance.
- Document development processes and provide user guides or training materials as needed.
- Support the optimization of existing apps to enhance performance and user experience.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in manufacturing technology.
Your defining qualities:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming languages, particularly JavaScript, Python, SQL, or C#.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of backend development and RESTful APIs.
- Exposure to version control tools like Git.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or project experience in app development.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes or industrial software solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
