We are looking for Lead Data Engineer (Python)

You’ll make a difference by:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reliable, and scalable data pipelines using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Integrate data from structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources into a unified data platform.
• Design, implement, and manage SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.
• Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering, Python development, and cloud services
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers

You’ll win us over by:

• 7+ years of experience in python with experience in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Strong experience with any of the relational database (PostgreSQL, MySQL etc).
• Ability to write complex, optimized SQL queries.
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Apache Kafka)
• Knowledge of data storage solutions such as relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases (MongoDB), and data warehousing tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in data engineering environments.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, Agile, release often environment.

Good to have:

• Experience with popular Python frameworks such as Flask, Fast API or Django
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
