Then come and join our global team as Intern (f/m/d) for Computer Vision and AR Application at Innovation Think Tank.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You support research tasks in the field of sensor technology and related areas for various applications in the healthcare sector
  • You develop or improve image processing software with relevant knowledge in the field of image processing and machine learning
  • You develop or improve algorithms and applications for other types of sensor applications
  • You are involved in the creation of new use cases for product ideas at pre-development level

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are studying successfully in the field of mechatronics, software engineering, computer science or a related field of study, at least in the 4th Bachelor or 1st Master semester
  • You have good programming skills in C++ and Python and are familiar with OpenCV, YOLO, MediaPipe, Numpy, etc.
  • You have experience with MS Office programs (PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • You are familiar with software development tools and practices, e.g. mastery of version control systems (Git), code review processes and agile methods
  • Experience with sensors and data processing (e.g. 2D and 3D cameras, RADAR, LiDAR, IMUs) including setup, calibration, data acquisition and processing is a plus
  • Ideally, you have broad knowledge in the areas of programming, sensor technology and data analytics, in which you have already gained initial professional experience


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have very good written and spoken English skills
  • You have strong communication and time management skills as well as curiosity and a willingness to learn
  • You have the ability to work independently and goal-oriented
  • You have very good presentation skills
