Major Responsibilities
- Deliver expert service and maintenance for advanced Varian systems, following technical documentation and comprehensive training programs.
- Act as a trusted partner to customers, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce equipment downtime and optimize system performance.
- Build strong, long‑term customer relationships through clear, empathetic, and professional communication—both on site and remotely.
- Provide first‑line phone and remote technical support to customers and Field Engineers when required.
- Independently plan and manage your schedule, balancing preventive maintenance, installations, upgrades, and urgent service requests while effectively prioritizing customer needs through to resolution.
- Accurately document all service activities in company systems, including technical issues, corrective actions, and parts used.
- Participate in an initial structured training phase, including attendance at technical courses in dedicated training facilities, and continuously update your expertise through technical publications and procedures related to Varian equipment.
- Uphold the highest standards of professional knowledge, quality, and safety in full alignment with company guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree from a Technical Institute or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in servicing complex technical or medical equipment (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with confident use of testing and diagnostic equipment.
- Solid knowledge of IT hardware and basic network troubleshooting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer‑oriented mindset.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness and flexibility to work in shifts.
