As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to customer-facing websites, internal IoT-powered analytic systems, and internal tools. You will join us in helping our customers create energy-efficient, safe and intelligent buildings using a full arsenal of modern technological and AI-assisted tools.
In this position you will:
- Design and implement elements of various web applications which include real-time and historical data presented in tabular, graphical and animated forms.
- Design and implement algorithms for fault detection, and aggregation of voluminous data into meaningful facts.
- Incorporate artificial intelligence into problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Participate in complex, multi-threaded software design, development, testing and documentation.
- Contribute to build and deployment systems that speed and automate deployment.
- Work independently to innovate and solve new problems in data analytics.
- Constantly strive to follow best practices with integrity and enthusiasm.
- Communicate successfully with a wide spectrum of colleagues, from peers to customers, support technicians, building engineers, and other professionals.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Computer Science or Software Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years' experience in Java and the J2EE platform, including the gamut of related technologies, such as Tomcat, Angular, Memcached, Kafka, Spring, SQL, JDBC and so on. Strong understanding of common design patterns in web applications, especially REST-based microservices. Good grasp of best practices in security for web-based applications.
- Demonstrated Experience with the AWS ecosystem.
- Deft understanding of SQL databases and queries, as well as noSql technologies, such as Cassandra.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience deploying and building software on Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Experience with AI techniques.
- Experience with the Agile development philosophy.
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.

- The pay range for this position is $90,510 - $155,160 and the annual incentive target is 10%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
