Financial Data Analyst

Join our dynamic team at SIEMENS Smart Infrastructure as we seek a Financial Data Analyst to elevate our Performance Controlling organization! In this pivotal role, you'll harness cutting-edge business intelligence tools and processes to gather, consolidate, and interpret data from diverse sources, driving the creation of impactful financial reports. We're looking for a data analytics expert who is highly detailed oriented and can transform raw data into actionable insights for our executive management and colleagues. Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain data systems and databases, including converting data into new formats and resolving data-related issues.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness, addressing any quality issues and discrepancies.
  • Create visually engaging and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations for management to effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
  • Develop automated routines that can be easily scaled and reused in other areas.
  • Analyze current manual processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement data-related improvements.

You will impress us with the following qualifications

Required

  • Highly developed skills in industry standard tools/platforms for data analytics and visualization such as PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, R, SQL, or comparable
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance, including in-depth knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement), their interrelationships, and expertise in budgeting and planning.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis tools, including Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Functions), VBA, and experience with other business intelligence platforms such as Snowflake.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, capable of collecting, organizing, analyzing, and distributing large volumes of information with precision and attention to detail.
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • The pay range for this position is $98,630 - $169.080 plus incentive. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
