Your mission will be…

• As a Data Engineer at Siemens, you will be a key member of our growing data engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of the reliable and scalable data infrastructure that powers our data-driven initiatives. Reporting to the Data leadership, you will collaborate closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless flow of data across the organization. 
• In this role, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring data pipelines to ensure a trusted and scalable data integration service for our customers. You will also contribute to the design and management of a comprehensive portfolio of integration platforms, helping to drive Siemens towards becoming a data-driven company. 

We are looking for someone with…

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Excellent command of English 
• 3+ years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar data-focused role. 
• Proficient in designing and implementing data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or similar. 
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. 
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Scala, or other data engineering programming languages [3] 
• Familiarity with data engineering best practices, including data versioning, testing, and monitoring. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently. 
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
