Siemens Digital Industries (DI) is looking for a remote Data Analyst to provide price and product master data services (creation, maintenance, ad hoc inquiry and data analysis projects) serving Factory Automation (FA), Motion Control (MC), and Process Automation (PA) business units.
We are looking for a Data Analyst. This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the southeast region.
You’ll make an impact by:
- The Data Analyst will provide master data services for Siemens Digital Industries (DI) Division, serving stakeholder business units Factory Automation (FA), Motion Control (MC), and Process Automation (PA).
- The Data Analyst will also support and improve current Microsoft Access-based tools used in the creation of local data records, and drive creation of our next generation of product master data tools.
- Position will report directly to the Manager of DI Price and Product Master Data in the Back Office Logistics department, part of the larger DI Finance organization.
- Collaborate with Master Data team members to monitor a queue of incoming requests to create, maintain, or troubleshoot DI master data for stakeholder BUs.
- Ensure data quality in multiple business systems (local SAP, HQ Product Master Data) for stakeholder business units and applicable Service Level Agreements
- Support stakeholder businesses to establish and maintain appropriate list & net pricing levels.
- Work closely with Siemens subject matter experts from a wide range of departments, locally and internationally (partner management, product management, finance, logistics, customer support and order management, IT, etc.) as well as operational experts at key channel partners, to understand business data analytic requirements and drive business opportunities.
- Identify areas of opportunity and recommend possible new solutions to support fast growing data volumes and ensure sustained excellence in data quality and accessibility.
- Collaborate with IT, services, and product business units to ensure successful deployment of complex change requests
- Drive data analytics projects and present results to internal stakeholders and external channel partners.
- Monitor and analyze Order Management data to identify areas of opportunity, contribute new ideas in support of Siemens Digitalization goals in the order-to-cash process (Digital FIT Rate KPI), and collaborate with a cross-functional team of operational experts to drive results.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Math or Business Analytics, or similar analytical focus in a Bachelors of Art degree
- 3+ years of work experience
- Proficiency in database reporting, analytics and business intelligence
- Proficiency in programming such as SQL, Visual Basic, VBA for Access and Outlook, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong critical thinking skills, dedication to growth mindset, and able to work successfully both as part of a team and independently
- 10% travel may be required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Siemens business systems
- Experience in B2B list and net pricing
- Experience in product master data, and understanding of how master data is consumed in order processing, financial reporting, and external product data reports

- The pay range for this position is $67,480 - $115,680. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
