Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer & IT-OT Integration Specialist to join our team. This hybrid role will focus on integrating operational technology (OT) systems with cloud platforms and developing robust, real-time dashboards for data monitoring and analytics. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in IT and OT systems, cloud infrastructure, and data visualization to drive our digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Integration:
- Develop and implement strategies for integrating IT and OT systems to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Manage the integration of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
2. Cloud Architecture & Management:
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure using platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Oversee the migration of on-premises systems to cloud environments to enhance scalability, flexibility, and performance.
- Implement and manage data lakes and data warehouses in the cloud for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of industrial data.
3. Data Collection & Management:
- Connect industrial machines and OT systems to cloud platforms for real-time data collection.
- Develop and maintain data models, integration interfaces, and APIs to facilitate data flow between systems.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security throughout the integration process.
4. Dashboard Development & Data Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and data visualization tools to monitor and analyze real-time data from OT systems.
- Utilize tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana to create user-friendly dashboards that provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for dashboard reporting.
5. Cybersecurity:
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect IT-OT integrated systems and cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
6. Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT-OT integration and cloud deployment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and operations, to achieve project goals.
7. Continuous Improvement:
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and optimization through IT-OT integration and cloud technologies.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, IT-OT integration, and Industry 4.0.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT-OT integration, cloud engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of MES, ERP, SCADA, PLCs, and other industrial control systems.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficiency with integration tools and technologies (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, REST APIs).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in IT systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, SQL databases).
- Knowledge of OT systems (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider Electric).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g., compute, storage, networking).
- Familiarity with cloud data management and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of data lakes and data warehouses in the cloud.
- Experience with dashboard development and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Grafana).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Understanding of IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Professional Certifications:
- Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
- Certification in industrial automation (e.g., ISA) is a plus.
