We are looking for Cloud and MLOPS Engineer.

Before our software developers write even a single line of code, they have to understand what drives our customers. What is the environment? What is the user story based on? Implementation means – trying, testing, and improving outcomes until a final solution emerges. Knowledge means exchange – discussions with colleagues from all over the world.

Join our Digitalization Technology and Services (DTS) team based in Bangalore.

• Being part of an international data analytics team with diverse backgrounds, utilizing state-of-art data analytics methods to accelerate Siemens internal digitalization.

• Building data models by extracting, transforming, and processing unstructured or structured data from large, disconnected datasets.

• Interacting regularly with other data teams across Siemens to collaborate on data modelling and data warehousing challenges.

• Understanding cloud-native technologies and platforms.

• Being familiar in data and AI-related agile software development lifecycle methodologies, development, unit testing and integration frameworks.

• Implementing effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve company data

• Shaping and implementing the data architecture, including standards for data models, metadata, security, reference data such as product catalogs, and master data such as customers and products.

• Being a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.

• Being a technical leader, mentor, collaborator, and champion of best practices.

• 6-9 years’ work experience in Software Engineering especially in professional software product development.

• Experience with data engineering, data warehousing, building data pipeline

• Proficient in implementation and managing MLOps projects and services

• Expert programming skills in SQL and preferably Python (with ML knowledge) 

• Familiar with agile working methods

• Working with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and associated warehouses and tools (Snowflake, DBT)

• Strong understanding/expertise in building REST APIs/ Micro services architecture

• Advanced level knowledge of DevOps

• Very good command of English

• German is a plus
