We are looking for an ambitious Senior Storage Delivery Engineer with a passion for pushing Public Cloud storage providers to their limits.  Storage Delivery Engineers are responsible for accelerating data delivery to customers across our multiple businesses, public clouds, and data deals. A successful candidate will understand the big-picture needs of a publicly-traded international eCommerce business and how to deliver large data sets in a serverless environment with speed, accuracy, and clarity.

The day to day: 

• Supporting our Data Deal Partnerships with Globally Recognized 3rd Party Customers

• Managing distributed multi-cloud Object Storage footprint across our brand catalogs

• Shipping and delivering many billions of objects with serverless pipelines

• Interfacing with Sales and customers to set expectations on delivery timelines

• Operate and improve on end-to-end data delivery solutions, including managing serverless delivery pipelines, interfacing with Data and Sales teams, and migrating large data sets between cloud providers.

• Support streamlining and automation of ad-hoc and standardized delivery functions

• Manage an ever growing collection of data stores exceeding 80PB in size.

• Improve and support internal web tooling and analytics

• Day-to-day operational support of data and analytics engineering infrastructure, products, and services, including on-call routine

• Optimizing last mile delivery of content through multiple CDNs

What you will bring to the role:

• Strong hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer with experience in various cloud storage platforms with AWS as a primary focus.

• Significant professional experience with Serverless Architecture including AWS Services:  Lambda, S3, Athena, Step Function Workflow Orchestration, and SQS.

• Experience developing software in one or both of the following languages: Python or JavaScript

• Proven project management skills with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders and customers.
