OVERVIEW: 

The Senior Project Manager is a role that varies based on the size and complexity of project assignments. In partnership with the Project Sponsors and Business Leader(s), the Sr. Project Manager drives projects to success, ensuring all project deliverables are delivered within predefined project scope on schedule, within budget, and that IT controls are in place. A successful project manager must be able to insert him/herself into the midst of project activities and quickly gain control on all aspects. This leadership will initially focus on and positively impact our consumer’s digital journey across marketing, eCommerce and product support platforms. 

Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do: 

  • Collaborate with Business and IT leaders to drive decisions, plan, budget, and deliver high-impact technology changes.
  • Provide full scope of effective project management on all project activities, including stakeholder expectations, project scope and requirements, communications, change, resources, and task execution. 
  • Work across all functional areas, including managing service vendors to drive activities to completion. 
  • Ensure on time and on budget delivery of all project artifacts and deliverables. 
  • Analyze and manage project dependencies, risks, and issues and bring all to resolution within project schedule. 
  • Obtain and effectively utilize all project resources. 
  • Manage vendor relations and drive vendor deliverables and artifacts. 
  • Meet project financial objectives by forecasting, preparing financial updates, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variance, and initiating/executing corrective actions. 
  • Effectively report on project progress to all levels, including senior management team, and bring full transparency to all stakeholders. 
  • Work with teams across the globe to coordinate and manage resources effectively. 

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE 

  • 10+ years of Project Management experience managing large scale project/programs with large cross-functional/geographically dispersed teams through planning, execution and delivery.
  • Must have at least 3+ years of experience with D2C/eCommerce/ERP system implementation.  
  • Strong business acumen with IT knowledge 
  • Hands on experience leading the execution of full end-to-end IT projects and portfolios, using both hybrid and agile methodologies. 
  • Proven capabilities in IT project financial management. 
  • 8+ years with managing vendor project delivery and offshore delivery. 

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS: 

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written). 
  • Proficient and working experience with SmartSheet, Visio, Jira/Confluence, MS Excel (in depth knowledge of formulas, macros, graphs) and PowerPoint. 
  • Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities and in-depth analytical skills. 
  • Risk/issue management and mitigation, communication management, change management, resource management. 
  • Ability (and experience) to lead business case development efforts, including crafting relevant documentation and presentations for Business/Finance review. 
  • Facilitate efficiently and effectively virtual project team workshops and meetings. 
  • Ability to work, act, and think independently with minimal oversight. 
  • Hands on and be willing/capable to perform detailed tasks in addition to providing project direction to the team. 
  • Flexible with work assignment. 
  • Ability to serve as a mentor/coach and role model to the project team. 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or technical discipline (or equivalent experience). 
  • Advanced degree or professional training in IT Project Management and/or Effective Communications are preferred. 
  • Certified Scrum Master/Product Owner preferred. 

TRAVEL 

  • Travel is required per project requirements, including international travels. Expect to be 15% +/-.
