Job Description

Smart Operations is an emerging technology business focused on Retail AI and IoT. We leverage machine learning, computer vision and sensor technology to algorithmically understand the state of the physical world.  There is a plethora of problems that customers are eagerly looking for us to solve and this is a great opportunity to learn and be associated with a growing product. 

Role Expectation

The goal is to work with machine learning engineers to support ML development initiatives, especially on image and video processing. It is expected to develop innovative and cost-effective solutions to key problems, deliver high quality code, and leverage various systems and databases to build shippable solutions.

The focus will be on software development tasks, making use of ML models, but not directly on model training tasks.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

• An advanced degree in computer science (MS).
• 4+ years of experience in developing solutions involving computer vision algorithms.
• Applied knowledge of distributed systems, and databases in your work.
• Software development skills in Python and C++.
• Experience in leveraging data structures & algorithms to develop shippable software.
