Job Description

What you get to do in this role :

• Work on the back-end of complex solutions, with particular emphasis on solutions to « Vehicle Routing Problem »
• Participate in the architecture, development, testing, deployment, operation, maintenance and improvement of tools, libraries, frameworks
• Contribute to the design, implementation and operation of user-friendly and scalable APIs
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of an appropriate technological platform, frameworks and deployment architecture for each problem to be solved.
• Adopt and promote continuous delivery, AI and UX foremost, iterative development (YAGNI) and other best practices and principles in SaaS.

We build a state-of-the-art solutions for Schedule Optimization that integrates with ServiceNow’s Field Service Management product.

What you get to do in this role:

• Work on the back-end of complex solutions, with particular emphasis on solutions to “Vehicle Routing Problem”
• Participate in the architecture, development, testing, deployment, operation, maintenance and improvement of tools, libraries, frameworks
• Contribute to the design, implementation and operation of user-friendly and scalable APIs
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of an appropriate technological platform, frameworks and deployment architecture for each problem to be solved.
• Adopt and promote continuous delivery, AI and UX foremost, iterative development (YAGNI) and other best practices and principles in SaaS. 
• Solve large and complex software problems by providing innovative solutions that help the pharmaceutical industry benefit from software solutions and AI.
• Collaborate in the development of B2B products that will transform the way large companies operate by supporting them, one step at a time, towards the adoption of cutting-edge technologies.

Qualifications

Pour réussir dans ce rôle, vous êtes :

• Currently pursuing a Master  in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science or related field
• Able de travailler à temps plein pendant environ 16 semaines de janvier 2025 à juin 2025 dans un bureau ServiceNow au Canada

• Experienced working on data intensive projects
• Open-minded and a desire to learn and use the best languages and technologies to solve a given problem
• Expérimenté avec Python et les grandes bibliothèques, la connaissance de google OR-Tools est un atout
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes and other containerized systems, as well as associated automation tools, is considered an asset.
• Expérimenté avec des outils de gestion de version comme Git est considéré comme un atout.

To be successful in this role you are:

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree  in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Machine Learning, Data Science or related field
• Able to work full time hours for approx 16 weeks from January 2025-June 2025 at a ServiceNow office in Canada

• Experienced working on data intensive projects
• Open-minded and a desire to learn and use the best languages ​​and technologies to solve a given problem
• Experienced with Python and major libraries, knowledge of google OR-Tools is an asset
• Experienced with Docker, Kubernetes and other containerized systems, as well as associated automation tools, is considered an asset.
• Experienced with version management tools like Git is considered an asset.
