We are currently searching for a Java Developer:

The Challenge (Responsibilities)

  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across applications, APIs, and downstream dependencies using distributed tracing.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize WebSphere and WebLogic environments.
  • Execute JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, and evaluate heap and thread dumps.
  • Implement application-level structured logging and correlation IDs.
  • Analyze API latency, timeouts, retries, and dependency failures.
  • Conduct network, proxy, load balancer, and TLS troubleshooting.
  • Perform browser-to-backend transaction tracing and real user monitoring (RUM).

Your Profile (Requirements)

  • Deep Java application performance engineering experience.
  • Strong diagnostic skills with WebSphere and WebLogic.
  • Expertise in JVM profiling, garbage collection analysis, heap dumps, and thread dumps.
  • Hands-on experience with APM tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Oracle performance diagnostics, including SQL execution plans, AWR, and ASH.
  • Proficiency in managing JDBC connection pools, application thread pools, and session management.
  • Experience tracing transactions across legacy or partially instrumented platforms.
  • High-Performance Mindset: Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.
  • Technologist DNA: A deep understanding of the difference between "coding" and "engineering."

Desired

  • Familiarity with cloud-native foundations or AI coding assistants.

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English: For seamless collaboration with global teams.
  • Advanced Spanish.
