We’re looking for a Software Architect for our R&D team. Our R&D team developing cyber based counter drones products. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for designing & implementation of our most complex features.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has proven software architecture experience and is able to shape the design of complex features, while navigating dynamic requirements and constraints that are part of a fast paced, customer and results driven start up.
In this role, you will:
- Define engineering specifications and architectural approaches
- Provide architectural oversight and technical guidelines to engineering teams
- Lead and participate in the design and high level architecture for large or complex features
- Brainstorm ideas for new features and capabilities (and possible ways to implement them) as well as drive the technical backlog in collaboration with Product Management and Engineering leadership
- Solve complex challenges around high scale data processing, algorithmic solutions, and customer enhancements
- Define high-level architecture for new product lines and help adapt the current architecture dynamically to the changing needs.
- Define APIs and division of responsibilities between the different teams
- Build POCs
- Guide and review DB schemas
Requirements
You should have:
- More than 7 years of experience in R&D with at least 2 years in a development architecture position
- Strong design and development experience
- Maintain and communicate a complex system view
- Proven experience in defining APIs and modelling data
- Relevant technologies: typescript, Phyton, Linux, microservices, Docker, DBs, end to end systems
- Team Player, ability to work with both product and engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Must balance design principles with agile state of mind
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in both start up and enterprise environments
